Non-school students undertaking a traineeship funded through Career Start, or undertaking training through the General Training Pathway, are required to pay a student co-contribution fee of $1.60 per nominal hour for each unit of competency. As the number of nominal hours varies between units, the total fee payable will depend on the units undertaken.

Concessional students will pay 60% of this fee (0.64).
